This is a remote-eligible position.We are looking for a Sales Trainer who wants to share their experience and wisdom with others. The role would involve delivering fun and engaging virtually lead training to new hires and existing employees primarily across the US while also secondarily supporting our Canada teams. This position reports to the Sales Training Academy Director and will work in tandem with the Sales Trainer primarily leading training across Canada. Our goal is to connect to the needs of our teams with solid foundations about the selling, industry and product to meet and exceed their sales targets.About Our Candidate:Able to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment managing multiple priorities.Ability to be unfazed by ambiguity and comfortable in environments with shifting priorities.Creative, practical and with an attention to detail to ensure accuracy and quality of deliverables.You are a great storyteller whose ability will allow your experiences to resonate with both new hires and industry veterans.Passionate commitment to quality of work and customer service.Enthusiastic, flexible, and have a commitment to quality and customer service.Superior writing, editing, and communication skills with excellent attention to detail.What You Will Do:You will deliver specific learning experiences to our Sales team on a weekly basis using virtual webinars.You will work directly with subject matter experts and our instructional design team to develop curriculum from scratch to enhance our team's knowledge of all subjects related to our central product platforms - BacklotCars, all ADESA and ADESA.c platforms.You will build workshops and seminars around teaching key skills to our sales teams to ensure they understand all of KAR Global's offerings and processes.You will play a critical role to set our new sales hires up for success by helping and coaching them through onboarding and into the first critical weeks of their career.You will collaborate closely with Regional Directors to provide feedback on their team members and have an influence on performance management.You will work closely with sales executives to identify knowledge gaps and/or trends and provide suggestions on how to better performance.You will lead new employee onboard training as required.You may be required to travel to different territories (up to 10-20%)Perform other duties as required to ensure the success of the training and education team.What You Need to Be Successful:Minimum 3 years' experience in direct outside/field sales or managing a full sales cycle. You know how to close the dealBachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or equivalent experienceMinimum 2 years' experience with training Product and/or Sales concepts to adults (formal training, interdepartmental trainings, coaching new hires)Auto Industry experience as assetAdult Teaching Certificate an assetExperience working with and coaching different personality types.Successfully translate your sales experience into training experience.Superior interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate in a team environment required.Self-starter with the strong ability and desire to work both independently as well as collaboratively to achieve outcomes.
